: What I would do is shampoo the carpet with just any normal carpet shampoo you can find, air it out (leave the trunk open). Try laying some sceneted carpet power and allow it to dry. Vaccum it and leave a box of baking soda in a secure corner of the trunk to absorb odor. Should be gone in a week.
