I don't know why the Contour wheel would cause a loss of air pressure in the tyres, but I noticed the same thing with my Michelins. I drive a '95 M3 Lux (with 7.5in wheel in front and 8.5in wheels in rear) and I noticed that the pass side rear tyre was continuously losing air (around 5psi per four days or so). These were the original tyres with over 22,000 miles so I replaced them with the Bridgestone Pole Positions. I love the PPs and they have given me no problems, though I still love the look of the MXX3s.

I don't know if it is a coincidence. How about replacing the wheel instead of the tyre next time.

Cheers,

Patrick
