Since the oil pump is not belt-driven, that should not occur. However, the alternator output will fall below nominal (idle) as the thing is now turning at a slower baseline RPM. There is a way to overcome this. Have your alternator rewired by a competent electrical shop to put out higher amperage at a given RPM. Audio enthusiasts do this commonly to prevent low amperage availability due to all those amplifiers. (That's why the lights dim on those Accords at the stoplights when there booming ghetto-music). A competent electrical shop can do this for about $150 roughly plus R&R. Might be worthwhile as long as the A/C and power steering issues are okay.
