: Where did you get that beautiful strut brace? I was looking into getting Eibach since the AC Schnitzer carbon fibre strut brace won't fit a 98 M3.
: : If you have a conical filter..and I'm assuming we all have the same set-up here, have you ever noticed your car being a bit sluggish once the engine temp. is at the norm and faster when the engine's cold ?? This is due to the heat coming from the radiator. Check the position of the filter...it is right beside the radiator!!! Here's a basic concept...our engines produce power through combustion...and we all know that colder air is denser and has more Oxygen molecules which is needed in combustion. When our engines are cold, naturally cold air is sucked in by the intake which results in HP!!! When norm. temp. is reached, hot air is sucked in resulting in no HP gain or even worse negative gain!!! Here is where a heat shield comes along..
: : A heatshield can be made out of sheet metal from Home Depot or if you have the cash buy a carbon fiber one from Milos..(check link above) It covers your filter from the radiator heat and thus preventing hot air from being sucked in. Without the heatshield, you are most likely even to lose power than gain power !!!
