The alterpower system SHUTS OFF electricity therefore no turns are made by the alternator belt and any connecting pulleys. This means no A/C, etc. during full throttle !? (correct me if I'm wrong)

Underdrive pulleys just slow down the turns and the guy at ERT says that it isn't even slow enough to make anything malfunction BUT if you have a sound system, it could pose a problem. Another good thing about ERT's underdrive pulleys is that you could use even if you have a supercharger coz' it was built to under the SC pulley..another extra horses there !!

: Just a quick question: what are the differences between the underdrive pulleys and the alterpower system that Race Marque sells? Has anyone used this system? It sounds like it would work about the same as the underdrive pulleys plus a rewired alternator. Does anyone have any info or experience?? I want to make one of these mods, but I don't know which.

: Thanks,
: Mark G
