I'm not sure what you mean by "shut off the electricity". The only way this type of device can free up horsepower is by causing the alternator to free-wheel (not spin or be disengaged from the belt). If you somehow "blocked" electrical output from the alternator, mechanically it will still cause the same amount of drag. Does anyone know how the RMS system works? Are the other accessories like AC, power steering affected? Thanks.
