Color is personal - I have and love classic silver. It's common, but there's a good reason for that. Fern green is pretty on an M3, but Boston green looks better on roadsters and sedans IMO.
Rough estimates: $400 for JimC OBDII programming, $800 for an exhaust (i think supersprints are ~$700?), $800 for an intake (isn't the euro intake ~$800?). Ok, that's $2000. You have $1k left for shocks and spring upgrades. Dinan stuff is nice, but pricey. You could select exactly what you want, have brand new parts, and spend about the same. Just my clueless opinion, though.
