I have a Sony CDXC910.

You can hook amps up to the factory head unit as long as they have high level inputs or you want to deal with high to low converters (did I mention that I am selling some amps that would work :)). You will need new speakers if you swap the amp because all the crossovers are built into the factory amp.

Changer is a no go. You are stuck buying the BMW one or sorting out an adaptor cable on your own for converting BMW changer wiring to Alpine changer wiring.
