Well this should be easy to figure out. Just think of your driving, do you drive your M3 pretty aggresively (I mean, that is what the car is made for). But I think it could be the camber setting. But are you talking about the inner part of the tire (the part nearest the car), or the part facing outwards? If it is the one facing inwards than I am fairly sure it must be a camber issue (more negative camber brings increased tire wear, but better cornering). I would get the camber checked at your next service to see if it is correct. If it is, than the only other thing I can see is your driving. Which is no big deal really, but you will have to buy more tires.
