I just had to replace my MXX3 off my 95 M3. After doing lots of research, the best for the money are Sumitomo HTRZ 2. Tire Rack's web site has them rated higher than Pirelli P7000Z and the new Eagle F1. The best part is they only cost $132/tire. If your serious Autocrosser them there might be a better tire out there for more money. The wear rating is 220. There's no noise and they seem to do well in lots of rain.
