: : I plan to put 17x8 SSR wheels (offset of 40) on my car with 235/45 tires. TireRack says they can't guarantee that this size won't rub, but I know I've seen 235/45 tires used on an M3 by Dinan. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any problems?

: : Thanks,
: : MLG

: The Euro spec M3 has 225/45R17 on the front and 245/40R17 on the rear without rubbing, don't know what the offset is though.

: Alex

Also if your car is lowered you will have more room to spare between the tire and the wheel arch because there will be more negative camber on the wheels.

Alex.
