In the Netherlands you can buy the Stinger Ventura
(Hfl 2000,-, US$1000, 34GHz, 24GHz and 13GHz). This Stinger is designed to be invisible for the VG2 radar-detectors-detectors such as the French police use and is very sensitive and does not have many fals-alarms (tank-station, bank-safes ect).

The Stinger is a build in unit. The Receiver will be build in the bumper (invisible) and the display unit (as small as a Digital casette) can be build in every where in the interior you like (sigarette boxes are a perfect place). A removal slide is an option. You are then able remove the display unit in a second if you need to.

I have had one untill my car was stolen, and I regularly had warning distances of >300meters when I approached radar sites from behind (This is the difference with the US and is the reason why most radar detectors from the US don't work in Europe).

The Stinger Ventura units are the best you can buy, In the Dutch car-press these are year-in year-out the best with great distance to the competition (detectors for the US or Asian market) who don't work at all in Europe.

For more information, contact Stinger Electronics in Lisse (Netherlands (www.stinger.com)
