After having digested my 99 M3/2 for about 3000 miles I've come to the conclusion that some suspension modifications would further enhance performance. Before going balistic (dampers and springs) I would like to switch the factory sway bars for some larger diameter RD adjustables. My question is, will this void my drivetrain warranty? I know for a fact that installing shorter springs will, but am not sure about the sway bars. Also, what settings do you guys recommend for these bars on the factory suspension. I drive mostly in the city and auto-x whenever I can (about once a month if possible).
