'99 M3/2 hesitates when cold (archive)

Just wondering if this is a common problem...
I've had my M3/2 for about 1.5wks now. So far I've only identified two problems: 1) shimmy (it's at the dealer now for this), 2) hesitation/bogging when cold.

This is most noticeable because I need to give it some throttle when backing out of the driveway in the morning. It feels as if it wants to hesitate/die right at initial throttle tip-in. If I get the revs up a bit everything's fine.

Anyone else experiencing this symptom?

Thanks much,
Scott Stiles
