1), 2) and 3) -> A stupid question, but with you current setting position, can you floor the clutch pedal ?

Note: between 2nd and 3nd don't "power shift", the Getrag's, with the stock clutches don't like that. If you like changing gears at +6000 rpm (with a 500/800 rpm between them), upgrade to a stronger clutch (got EBM, very good).

4) ? But I never thought that the E36 was a very silent car anyway. Between the engine, exhaust and radio, I can't hear anything else - much less the wind !

5) Have you wheels balanced (you should do it again after the drivetrain settles -> 500~1000 km)
