Can anyone tell me if the Autoloc system is good/dependable? I'd hate to put some cheap keyless system in my baby!

: Caesar..

: I thought the $$$ was pretty steep too. I bought an Autoloc keyless entry system from BMP for $150. You can buy this unit from BMP or Autoloc themselves (same price). Fairly simple install...only took me about an hour. All you have to do is remove about 6 screws to remove the dash, unplug the glovebox light, and plug it in to the factory socket. Then put everything back together...and you're done.

: My dealer said something similar, I felt he just wanted to sell me the system. BUT, when I took my car in to have the stereo replaced (under warranty) a while back, they actually placed the keyless entry system in a better location than where I had put it.

: The alarm from autoloc is only a hundred dollars more, but I'm not sure if it is as simple of an install as plugging it in to the factory port like the keyless system.

: It's been in my car for two years with no problems. Email me if you have any questions. Check out the link...the instructions are on their website.
