: Fellows, I am experiencing a slight surging effect when the car is driven cold at a constant (low) speed. Could this be due to leaky intake manifold isolators/gaskets? How can you tell when these things go bad? I am also experiencing my OBC resetting randomly and also locking up on certain functions. Is this OBC bad or could it be a low battery voltage situation? Any help you could give will be appreciated, related to these subjects and any other E30 M3 topics. Feel free to e-mail direct. Thanks.

I had the intake manifold gasket changed on mine and it fixed the idle/surge problem.

I also have the OBC problem and no one has been able to help because it never freaks when it is at the shop. Mine also has intermittant power door locks and power mirrors.
