There's about a 10HP difference between using the Euro air box and a shielded cone filter. The Euro box flows better than the stock one but not that much. That's from everyone that's dynoed theirs.

Put your cone back on, but I'm afraid it might be too small for the 3.5" inlet of the Euro HFM.
