To be honest with you - BMW doesn't care what year it is - they won't discount on a '99 until later on this year (August-ish). But yes - this is the last year of the E36.

I just bought my '99 M3 Coupe BECAUSE it's the last year of the E36. Personally, i'm not all that crazy about the new ones, and I'd rather own the last year of a model, than the first year of one, due to first generation problems always occuring.
