You know a cheap way of doing this is to go to Home Depot, buy a 4" rubber PVC pipe connector, then get either an angled (I think 15 or 45 degree) exhaust pipe (3.5" diameter) or PVC pipe.
I initially was afraid of the PVC pipe, but with a
heat shield there's no danger of it melting.

I connected it in this order front to back:
Cone filter, pipe, PVC connector, Euro HFM, Steve
Brown adapter. I had to design (bend is more like it) two brackets to hold everything in place and mounted them to the stock air box mounts.

I can't believe ERT charges $1250 for their kit and it doesn't look like they include a heat shield.
