I talked to the mechanic over the phone and he did say about the belt needs adjusting time(i guess that must be it then) Anyway, I'm really satisfied with the result. Thanks again Chris for your input.

Best regards,

: What type of sound is it? If its a loud screeching sound it could be the belt slipping. After my mechanic did my install he had me drive it hard for a few mins to make sure everything was O.K. My understanding is that the belt is self-adjusting so if thats your problem it should correct itself shortly.

: : Hi guys, just had installed this afternoon. It took the mechanic about 1.5 hour to get it done. But, I'd say it's worth the wait:)...I noticed the engine rev smoother from 3000 rpm and up. The original pulley that being replaced is big, and I mean gigantic compare to the Ert unit. I haven't seen any negative side effects so far, but of course it's only been a couple of hours, but one thing that I did notice is I heard this sound that I never heard before at above 4500 rpm(Chris, if you read this, have you heard any kind of sounds in your M roadster?)
: : IMHO, I'd say it's worth the money I spent on this thing, but I wouldn't know about the pre-96 M3 though(since they charge more for those cars)

: : Best regards,

: : Pete
