Despite the opinions of others, below, I would think that if you try really hard you can come up with a set. First of all, if the factory produced headrests with the M logo stitching, then there are probably some still in the factory warehouse somewhere. Secondly, they have to have a part number if they were used in production.

So keep trying--- what would probably help is for someone to post a picture of their seat WITH the M headrest so that you can show that to the dealers.

Another option might be to try Bekkers. They seem to have some direct lines into European parts sources. Maybe they could find some for you!

Anyway, good luck and post a message to let us all know how you made out!! And pics!!

: I was bringing in my car for Inspection I and decided to ask about the Motorsport (striped) headrests that have been discussed on the board. No one at the dealership (here in the NY) seem to know what I am talking about. I hear they look great and I want them also, so can someone give me the name of their contact at BMW that assisted them with getting the new ones replaced free of charge? Even if the contact is in CA, I can have my dealership call them.
: Thanks for any help with this.
