As long as you have less than 50,000 miles on the car, you are still under warranty. I would definitely take this up with the dealer. They should take care of it.

: Please help: I have a '96 M3 with a Harmon Kardon receiver and a BMW factory CD player. I'm wondering ... do any of you with similar set-ups have large amounts of static when playing CD's? The stereo on my '93 325is was crisp and clean, but this one has a great deal of background noise. I bought my car from a previous owner, so I think any warranties on the stereo equipment are long gone. Anybody have any thoughts?
