Rust remover (more) (archive)

Anybody know of any rust removers? I noticed some small rust at the center on the front fan just behind the grill, also some rust behind the license plate, that cheap DMV "tin sheet"!
Are there any rust protectors that can be used between this
"tin sheet" and the body before mounting the lic plates??
