In that case, keep posting. When I took delivery of my M3 a few weeks ago the salesman spent about 30 minutes going over everything, including a lot of common sense things (how to adjust the volume on the radio - duh!). I think they are suppose to do this with all new deliveries.

Maybe you can take your M3 to a local dealer and see if they are kind enough to do the same? While a lot of what they tell you is fairly basic, you may find out a few of the "little" things you need know.

If not, keep posting and I'm sure you'll get a response (although it may be a smartass one like the one I gave you).

: I appreciate it. I am reading the owner's manual, a little confused - it shows some diagram in here where the relative locations aren't clear... unlike other diagrams in the manual.
: Well, I bought this car out of state, so I did not get any orientation from the dealer! Did I really miss anything? Thought I could figure out, but of course it takes some time.
: Thank you!

: : No offense new M3, but based on some of your questions on this board I'd say you should go back to your dealer and have them give you the new car orientation again. Or maybe just read your owner's manual.

: : There is no fuel door opener...if your car is unlocked then so is the fuel door. Subsequently, if your car is locked...well I think you can figure that one out.

: : : I was going to fill gas on my new M3, heck, where's the fuel door opener hiding??
