If your buying a convertible in the summer expect to pay a premium.
Since you can't get the car till August, I would wait till fall early winter. In the fall all the people who picked them up for the summer will be realizing they should have gotten a hard top.
Convertibles are fun, but in NY you have cold, rain, snow, sleet and theft to deal with. (I'm assuming your around NY city.) If your using it as a toy, who cares about the weather.
If you want to save a few grand wait till the fall.
: I went to get a M3 convt and no dealers could get me one until August. I really rather have it before the summer. Anyway one dealer had two coming in within the next 3-5 weeks. Both are Tit. silver on black
