: Im considering purchasing an M3.. Getting rid of my last 2 GM junk cars.. I found a 1998 M3 4Dr Manual, Silver/Silver, loaded other than pwr seats & wood grain pkg.. 43,000 hwy miles, VERY Clean, Wheels are perfect, new Michilin tires..all for $31,800 .... Is this a good deal? Are these cars reliable enough that I won't need to worry about something going wrong in 7k mi when warranty is up ? Any experiences in Snow?? It has the traction control, just wondering how well it works being a RWD & 240hp.. I also like to improve performance on all of my cars.. even the Grand Cherokee.. lol .. How much of a difference can really be felt by throwing a Borla or TriFlow Exhaust and a K&N intake kit on an M3?
: Thanks For all your help !!
I love My M3 and You will too. After Years of domestics it was great to come home. That seems like about the right price for a 98 M3/4. I would recomend an extended warranty. That being said to be totally honest with You to make it an everyday car for winter use at the very least Your looking at winter tires and wheels. I don't mean to be negative on the M3 but its an everday car but its very close not to being one. In My opinion I would go for it but be prepared for compromise. But sweet compromise it will be!!! have fun.
