: Hi Guys,

: I'm pretty much set to buy the Supersprint for my E36, 325i. I'd just like to see what some of ya think about it in terms of the sound it makes. I've heard the triflo and it's way too loud, but I also want some sounds. I've read else where that the Supersprint sounds like stock exhaust, it is just as quiet. Is that true? There's no deep throaty rumble???

I wouldn't exactly call it a rumble. On an E36 M3 at idle, the SS sounds nice- a little higher than stock to the ear, but not by very much. However, as you move up in the rev band that's when you notice the changes in exhaust tone. Again, not too much- it just sounds nice.
