He's talking about a 2nd gen Turbo II, not a 3rd gen RX-7. If you're talking about E36 M3 vs. 2nd gen RX-7 turbo II, the M3 is far superior in both acceleration and handling (even though SOLO II classifies them both in A stock). The Turbo II is much cheaper though, and can be modified to be quite fast.
