Another E30 M3 with a "blueprinted" engine? (archive)

I'm still looking to find a good E30 M3. I called a guy today who sounds like a fanatic. He bought an '88 M3 15 mo ago with 93K miles and fixed everything (new shocks, shock mounts, Borla exhaust(from heads back), chip, Sacs clutch, radiator, front air dam(the original was pitted), brakes, wheels, tires, etc.(over $5000 invested). He also paid $700 to "blueprint" the engine. He said it was taken apart, balanced, checked for factory specs, and put back together with new head gasket, seals, valve shims, the works. The car now has 113,000 miles and he tells me it drives like new (burns no oil and dynoed at 208 hp). He is asking $14,000 (he wants to buy an E36 M3). Is it possible there is a lot of life left in the engine and transmission? What do you think? Always appreciative,
--Eric
