I have the same problem with my 95. I went through a whole song and dance with the dealer and BMW of America. They said that the computer was adaptive, and that I drove the car in too much "city" driving, that my commute was too short, and every other excuse in the book. The car does seem to do better if I have been in less traffic. But it does seem to have "flat" spots when accelerating. Sometimes it is rather fast with small throttle imputs, and other times seems sluggish. Perhaps it's the effect of the cheaper American single throttle head. Anybody else have any ideas about this? I know how to drive the car, but I don't want to scream it all of the time.

: : : Hey,
: : : Has anyone experienced what feels like a slight hesitation under moderate acceleration in their M3? I have a '95 and in second and third gear under acceleration it feels like it's hesitating a few times in the power band. It's not a hard miss, but more of something I'm bothered by.
: : : Any advice would be appreciated. By the way I only use supreme gas generally chevron.
