Low Beams on M3 (archive)

After driving a 91 Camry with dim head lights for a while, I was looking forward to my M3's.

Unfortunately the BMW headlights are aimed so low and do not disperse light above a very defined line on the road. I have heard several people complaign about the 3 series lights.

I picked up a Hayned manual as a temporary till the new Bentley comes out. It tells me I should only have the lights adjusted by a dealer computer. It then gives you instructions on how to move them up in "emergency conditions."

This post is mostly a bitch session......but......the lights suck. If I don't move them up slightly I feel it is almost dangerous to drive at night.

The high beams kick....but the low beams could use some serious improvement.
