Most disk brakes are goung to squeak some -- some more than others. Its pretty normal. Its usually due to vibration of the pad within the caliper and slight temperature-related glazing of the pad from the pads being too hot or too cold.

The brake dust doesn't have anything to do with it. But you can clean it off if you want. It'll look better.

Thank being said, there are a couple of things you can do.

1) Live with it -- turn up the radio ;)
2) Add brake goo to the back of the pad (I forget what this stuff is called, but it tends to quiet noisy brakes, any mechanic can tell you)
3) Try a pad with a different temperature rating or a different composition (carbon vs semi-metallic vs organic, etc.) Call the guys that sponsor this board. They can set you up...
