: : Here are to answers to your questions-

: : 1- They tell you to turn off your ASC because when you accelerate, if you spin your tires it would trip on the ASC, consequently slowing you down (I'm sure you've experienced this on the road)

: :2- Turning it off on the road would give you a slightly better 0-60. This is because tires give their maximum traction at 10% slip, and can't slip this much with the ASC activated.

: :3- As for the RPM, you should try to raise the revs to about 2500, then quickly bring the clutch out to the engagement point. DO NOT DROP THE CLUTCH, instead, learn to quickly press the throttle to the floor while letting the clutch out. Your revs should stay at 2500 the entire time until the clutch is entirely engaged. If you don't hear a constant squeal from your tires, do it faster! (A small sqeauking, not rapid tire spin. Remember the 10% slip idea.)

: :4- Most people who run stock or run with their every day cars do not remove the tire. Most AA guys don't have a spare tire in there.
