Hey guys,
Well, I paid $4.10/gal for 103 octane unleaded gas. (I only put like 2-4 gallons in a tank, and then mix rest with 92 octane= about 95-96 octane of gas all around. From what I understand, the 117 is just very leaded gasoline, I don't think alcohol. This guy in Supra runs no cats. Lots of people in city use it, I guess. CYA>PM3

Hey, I am on my way to mini(quick planned) M3 run with Mr. Vanos and Brad. Last time we tried to tell people we planned a quickie in like 36 hours in advance we got yelled at, so that's why we didn't say anything. But be on the look out for our next big one, hopefully in a couple weeks!!! I promise to post....Leave me some new ideas/suggestions you may have for Southern California roads (keep it in LA/Orange/San Bernardino counties).

: Since I'm not sure what exactly 117 Octane contains..most likely to me probably nothing near Reformulated fuel, it could either be Ethanol or Methanol (methyl alcohol) which most race cars use. Methanol can be used straight or blended with gasoline. Usually mixed with 5% methanol and 5% co-solvent in gasoline. Used to reduce ozone formation and air toxins. Has very high resistance to detonation. EXREMLEY CORROSIVE (the PTG M3 engine can only last about 33hours)...will void manufactuer warrenty. Using this fuel will eat your engine.
