: : I've been stewing on rewiring the rear window controls (from around shifter) with the front window control switches. These are what
: : seems to do the auto up and auto down. Before I fork over money for new switches and waste time and effort, I was wondering if
: : anyone has already tried this and to what avail?

I would like to have this done too... was wondering how to do it

: the switch is only part of the equation...i believe there is software charges that need to be made too

Well, if the switch along with the connections are displaced and moved to a new location (is that possible?), no software changes would be necessary. We would need a new panel with all switches on one side of the shifter... I dont think it is easy - the whole system may have to be reestablished, in that case software changes may also be required.

: just a guess though
