Alright, have you measured for how long can I run my car vac and have power to start the car after that... I wash car in the morning after it has been idle for about 12 hrs or so (and sometimes 36hrs)... Also the M3 manual says not to use anything that draws over 200W, I suppose the car vac's power rating conforms to this (assuming a power factor of 1, this should not pull more than 16Amp apprx.).

: HUH? that is what the alternator does- charge the battery...cost is insignificant
