Thanks for all the data, appears if if most M experts opine that buying now (a tried and true performer) is better than waiting for the new body and engine M. Also, there is some romance in buying the last of a dying breed (E36 M) -- assume the 99 reached near perfection. Thanks for the advice.
: : Big question, now that I've picked the M3 coupe over the M3 ragtop, should I buy a 99 or wait for the new body style in 00? Any M experts out there who know if it's worth the wait and will the price go up with the improvement (if any)? Thanks, really important to hear from you M people
: since there won't be a 2000 kind of limits your options huh?
