How to get adhesive off of instrument cluster? (archive)

HI,

I took those stupid stickers off the instrument cluster, the ones that said what octane gas to use and the one over the temp guage, and now I have some adhesive left on the plastic.

How can I get this off without scratching or damaging the plastic? Boy, I hate that stuff. Windex did not take it off. All help appreciated.
