: Hey guys, I have a 96 M3 with the bilstein sport suspension and eibach coilovers (ground control) wanted to lower the ride height but keep the original feel of the handling. however, i think the springs are too soft for the car, there is alot of body roll and movement when cornering. The car feels like it's floating and it doesn't handle as well as it used to with the stock springs and shocks. I will keep the shocks as i know they are pretty good, but i was wondering if any of you could suggest springs that will make the car handle tighter then stock. I don't mind a rough ride, not race track bone jarring hard though. My friend suggested H&R race springs as opposed to the sport springs. Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for the time.
I actually have a set of the race springs for sale if you are interested. When these were on my car, they complimented the Bilsteins very well. The ride was rough but not bone jarring. Handling was exceptional but I also had a set of sway bars also. This helped get rid of the body roll better than a set of springs. BUt these springs also did not make the car float at all. Let me know if you are interested in the springs. Email me at [email protected]
