s2000 has no torque.....(more) (archive)

in a tight course with lots of turns, the m3 should win out againstthe s2000. reason being, the s2000 has no torque. it makes all it's power high in the rev range. despite being such a light car, it would not have the power to pull it out of corners as fast or hard as a m3 could. how often on an autox course would you be able to wind out an engine to 9000rpms? true, there could be some nice straights, but by then, the m3 should be a good amount ahead. props to the honda engineers for their 240hp 2.0 liter gem though.
