the 94-95 M3 airbox has one baffle and the 96+
models has the lovely love handle and (2) baffles

I'm not sure on the 94-95 models, but i know for
fact that the 96+ models, the (2) baffles are easy
removels. on the outside of the box, press and push a little button under the baffle.

i know it's not called button, it's flat,
rectangular and it slides out. (1) baffle is a
rectangle, that should slide out of the box.
HOWEVER, there's a bigger piece, it's like a half
cylinder, you will have to cut it in pieces from
inside the m3 airbox.

HOW do I know this? I have a 97 m3 airbox that i
got to play with. took it out, put it in a K&N
drop in filter (45$ each) and it flows better.
nothing compared to a cone filters. sheehs.
with a cone filter, mean growl... too noise for
some of you out there....

if you want something simpler, I'll sell you my
97 m3 airbox PLUS (2) k&n drop in filters. I paid
$100 for the airbox and $90 for the filters.
i'll let it go for $150 and shipping is on me
don't expect next day delivery either..
