: Gee, thanks for pointing that out. Want to know how any times I have looked at crash ratings before I purchased a vehicle? NONE. Assuming that you even have an M3, did you first consider that you would get much better MPG if you purchased a Honda Civic?
If you run head on into a semi at 70 mph, your dead wether you are in the Jeep or any other car.
Check out the highway safety crash tests--new Grand Cherokee scored marginal on many tests....
: : I feel your pain...sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Email me when you get a chance, I have some questions about the Cherokee...my wife really wants to buy one and I know nothing about them.

: : : ed. Well if anyone out there is looking for a nice M3 you can find one at Newport Autocenter in Middletown Rhode Island. That's where I traded in my M3. They gave me a fair value considering what used M3s are going for these days. Problem was that I did not want to have to drive it through another winter, I needed something to tow my boat, and I got a good deal on a fully loaded 99 limited. I still have a 325Ix so I won't loose touch with the ultimate driving machine and I'll definately be back in two years when I can get a 2002 M3. (the second model year always seems to be improved from the first)
