This last winter I was passed on the interstate while it was snowing by a Grand Cherokee. About a mile later right in front of me he had to touch the brakes and he slid into the ditch. When he hit the snow embankment along the side of the road, it barrel rolled several times then went end over end and came to a rest on its side. The drivers side A-pillar and front roof was pushed down about 8". The driver was bloodied but not seriously injured and his passengers in the rear (his 4 & 6 YO sons) were uninjured. The Jeep in my guestimation, was totaled and this roll was cushioned by 12"+ of snow.
