First, I think that $34k is a little high for that car, but it depends on where you are. $30.5k would be reasonable.

Personally, I say buy it if you like the color combination. Overall condition is more important than the cosmetics to me. When I was looking, I wanted a Dakar/black M3 over anything else. But I found a Red/lt. grey car that was in great shape and looked very nice too. It wasn't a combination that I couldn't stand, so I bought it.

Of course, I saw 3 Dakar/black cars in the two weeks *after* I bought mine, but that's just the way it always happens. :)

: Hi,

: I have been racking my brain for the last week. I am in the market for an ///M3, and have found a great looking 96' Boston Green with Modena Leather. The car has just over 40k miles on it, and is factory certified. The dealer wants $34,000 for it which is quite a bit but I would be willing to spend somewhere close to it. NOW, I also like the combination of Black with Modena leather. I have only seen it in a picture though.
: Both combinations look great. The question is, should I buy the Boston Green/Modena, or hold out for a Black/modena? What do you think??
: Thanks,

: Ross Simpson

: P.S- If you have ANY pictures of your car with modena leather PLEASE!!! send them to me? thanks.
