I just got the AVS Sports and really like them so far. No rain yet so I cannot comment on wet traction. Dry traction seems at least equal to the MXXX3s. Neither tire offers great rim protection. Also have had Continental CZ91s ... an OK tire with good rim protection but funky breakaway characteristics (very sudden sometimes). The AVS Sports seem to have very similar driving characteristics as the MXXX3s ... the Yokos may be a bit quieter (or my memory may be fading) and the Yokos are unidirectional while the MXXX3s were not.
