YOu will love the SS exhaust. I think that it is one of the best on the market if not the best. It is strictly made for an M3. Some of the other exhausts out there are made for a 325/328 which just so happen to fit an M3 also. Everybody that I know makes their exhaust smaller in diameter than the stock M3 exhaust also. I just ordered me a full race system for my M3 Lwt and can't wait to get it either. As for the intake, I would not get it. I would get the Jim C intake. I know that I will probably get a lot of flak for this one but I think this intake is going to be the best out there. Just to show you how good it I think that it will be, I have ordered his full Euro kit. It really is not a bad price considering that I get intake, Euro HFM, adapter, and software for $1050 when Dinan offers the same thing for around $2000 with the addition of a throttle body. Which the throttle body does not really provide us with an gains. If I were you, I would just hold out a bit longer, get the money for the Jim C., and get the best kit out on the market.
: I decided to order the SS exhaus for my '97 M3, any pros or cons? i heard the note of the SS on 2.8 Z3 at MZ3net, and loved it, im sure the M3 will be louder since it's 50 more HP. I couldn't tell much from the M Roadster since it has quad exhausts, which sound louder anyways. How much for installation? and how long?
: Also, would you guys recommend the Dinan cold air intake with carbon fiber? i'm offered a new one for $350, what do you guys think? good deal? good combo with the exhaust? too loud? how much tourque and HP gain? any problems with the dinan intake?
: Any more info would be appreciated!
