If you cut your springs, you're not going to be able to align it properly not to mention you're going to void your warranty if you still have one. Its a Stupid idea. one of my friends did this on his 325i dispite everything that anyone has told him(it was an E30 body so it was crap anyways). It goes through tires like there is no tomorrow. They wear really bad on the inside. His shocks always bottom out and it shakes all over the place, it also doesnt feel very stable dispite the fact that its like almost down on the ground. I guess it looks alright though, but it wont handel very well. you're going to rub over everything and mess up the bottom of your car...
Besides, even with the sport springs, you're going to have trouble getting it up on the lift to change the oil, but you probably wont have to worry about that. Maybe you'll get lucky and loose all your oil after you scrape your oil pan on a nice speed bump or a rock, so you wont have to change it!!! YEA!!!!!
