I agree that the 3.73 is just about a pure race gear.

There did not seem to be that much lost top end wise between the 3.45 and the 3.65. That is why I was looking at the 3.65. On the other hand I think it means about 4,000 rpm at 80 mph. So I agree with your comments about the highway. What do you think the performance differance might be in second gear or a 0-60 run?
