I'm looking at getting some new wheels, and was considering the Niche Shocking Shock, or the Fittipaldi AV3 500 Modular. I would also be amenable to other wheels in the Fitti style...i.e. 5 spoke with deep rim and rivet look, although I should say that I'm not interested in anything in the ridiculous Hamann-et-al price category. I see Kinesis, Moda, and HRE have wheels in this style, but I don't know how they are priced.

First, I was wondering if anyone had has had experience with either brand/model. References to pics of M3's with these or similar wheels would be appreciated too.

Second, I was wondering about fitment issues...I would prefer to keep 17" wheels, but wouldn't mind getting them wider if possible (9" front 10" rear???). The roads here really suck, so I was wondering if 18" wheels would even be feasible given the reduced height of the tire? Anyway, I'm not sure what the maximum wheel/tire combo would be on the front/rear width/height-wise. I wouldn't mind rolling the fenders if necessary, although the question then is: how much does that cost, and where in the Philly -> North Jersey area could it be done properly. I'm considering getting sport springs/bilsteins as well, but in the short term at least will prb be running with stock suspension.

Now that I've thrown 20 variables into the equation, I'd appreciate some help. Also, here are links to pics of both wheels I mentioned:

Thanks,
Craig
